Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada needed a localized campaign to energize membership and reflect the vibrancy of their community. The campaign had to:
Align with national Girl Scouts branding while feeling unique to the Nevada region
Appeal to both caregivers and girls in grades K–12
Provide versatile templates for social, web, email, and print
The Challenge
As the lead designer, I:
Developed the campaign’s look and feel across print, social, and digital.
Aligned all assets with Girl Scouts USA brand guidelines.
Created reusable templates in Canva for internal staff and troop leaders.
Recruitment materials based off the creative direction set forth by Girl Scouts USA.
The campaign emphasized bold, joyful visuals that centered girls’ voices, individuality, and everyday adventure. The design system drew from national GSUSA branding while layering in playful badge graphics, strong typography, and a vibrant palette tailored to local audiences.
Deliverables included:
A full suite of social graphics for Instagram
Print-ready recruitment flyers and customizable templates
A branded tri-fold brochure highlighting key benefits and Girl Scout values
Event signage, recruitment banners, and volunteer rally materials
Merch concepts like t-shirts and tote bags featuring empowering campaign slogans
